Die Ferienwohnung war sauber und das Gelände sehr gepflegt und liebevoll angelegt. Man findet einige gemütliche Sitzgelegenheiten oder eine Hängematte. Jede Ferienwohnung hat eine eigene Terrasse. Unsere Ferienwohnung war teils ein wenig dunkel, dafür aber auch an heißen Tagen angenehm kühl. Praktisch ist auch, dass es eine Waschmaschine und einen Wäscheständer gab. Besonders hat uns die Poolanlage mit ausreichend Liegen, Schattenplätzen und Wasserspielzeug gefallen. Man hat außerdem einen schönen Blick in die toskanische Landschaft und auf die umstehenden Olivenbäume. Bei Fragen konnte man sich an das Hausmeisterehepaar wenden.

Each apartment has its own terrace. Our apartment was partly a little dark, but also cool on hot days. It is also convenient that there was a washing machine and a clothes rack. We especially liked the pool area with enough beach chairs, shade and water toys. It also has a beautiful view of the Tuscan countryside and the surrounding olive trees. If you have questions you can contact the couple of caretakers.

100 % Toskana - Das von rustikalem Charme angehauchte, traditionelle, toskanische Ferienhaus liegt oberhalb der wunderschönen Bergstadt Cortona und bietet einen atemberaubenden Blick über die Landschaft bis zum Trasimenischen See. Die Anlage verfügt über einen Pool, einen zur Mitnutzung freigegebenen Gemüsegarten, geräumige Schlafzimmer und eine große Wohnküche. Ein besonderer Höhepunkt unseres Aufenthaltes war der gemeinsame Abend mit unserer Gastfamilie, bei der traditionelle toskanische Gerichte und in der Region angebauter Wein angeboten wurden. Die Herzlichkeit der Vermieter ist unvergleichlich und sucht Ihresgleichen. Danke für eine fantastische Zeit!

I have held vacation with my family in Italy and Tuscany many times, and rented apartments like this many times. But this time in this apartment our holiday was close to be a disaster. The apartment itself is OK (apart from the fact, that the owner has filled all drawers, shelfs and cabinets with their own stuff, so there was no place to our things). The biggest issue was that having a vacation in the summer time in Italy without any outdoor area nearby to use for eating and relaxing is absolutely a no go. And I have never met that before. It has never been mentioned in the description of any of the apartments I have rented before – it is a mandatory thing that you of cause have an outdoor place nearby with chairs and table to use for eating and relaxing. But it is not the case for this apartment. That fact changed our vacation to one big disappointment. Taking the high price for this apartment into account, then it is possible to find many other places to stay in Tuscany for a summer vacation that is better and cheaper. It was not mentioned in the description of the apartment, that it is placed on second floor with no balcony and no terrace nearby.

[counter comment] we are sorry that the apartment did not meet your expectations. However in our property description it is clear that this unit is situated on the 1st and 2nd floor and that outdoors the guests can enjoy use of a nice shared pool set in panoramic location.

We give 3 stars because some important equipments where missing like microwave, only one fan for two rooms, no garbage bags... The noise around the house, lot of cats and dogs, the noise of the restaurent late at night. We were a little disapointed by the place. Thank you.

The most wonderful holiday in a truly beautiful home. The pool and the garden are magnificent and very well kept. It was a perfect week with 5 young children and our friends. Great evening meals al fresco with delicious local wines. Thank you Leonardo and Claudia for having us... and for providing cots, high chairs, stair gates, gates to the pool and the driveway.... you really made our stay very very comfortable and we are very appreciative. We'll be back for sure!! If it's available... don't think about it, just book it! It's simply wonderful!

We've spent a wonderful week in Il Borgo di Salvino. The place is perfect for two couples. It contains large apartment with two double bedrooms, bathroom and fully equipped kitchen plus another room, with seperate entrance and bathroom. Common balcony with beautiful view.
It takes one minute to get to the private pool.
Whole area is surrounded by typical toscanian plants: olive trees, lavender and rosemary, so the air smells wonderful.
There's little trattoria nearby, that serves local food. Also a dozen of wine factories where you can buy DOCG Chianti and cheap house wine.
The Host - Alberto - is very friendly and helpful.
The whole place will stay in our minds for long.

Ett fint hus med lite enklare inredning och fantastisk terass, lite svårt att hitta hit första gången. Mycket trevlig hjälpsam ägare/caretaker som bor granne.

Alles perfekt von der Begrüßung bis zum Abschied! Einzig und alleine Sonnenschirme beim Pool wären im Hochsommer noch toll. Ich komme bestimmt wieder!
