Beschreibung der Unterkunft

Schöner Besitz bestehend aus einem antiken Landhaus (15. Jahrhundert) und 2 Nebengebäuden, die perfekt restauriert wurden. Die originalen Architekturmerkmale und der ganze ursprüngliche Reiz wurden dabei erhalten. Die Anlage befindet sich in ruhiger und panoramischer Lage in den Hügeln um die berühmten Stadt Cortona. Die Villa ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet und mit allen Komforts ausgestattet.Das Landgut ist vollständig eingezäunt.
Entfernungen: Tavarnelle di Cortona mit Lebensmittelgeschäft 500 m, Camucia mit allerlei Geschäften 2 km, Cortona 3 km, Arezzo 30 km, Pienza, Perugia und Siena in einem Umkreis von 50 km. Der trasimenische See mit ausgestatteten Stränden ist mit ca. 15 Minuten Autofahrt zu erreichen.
Zur Verfügung der Gäste: grosser ausgestatteter Garten mit Tisch und Stühlen, Schwimmbad (12 x 6 m - max. Very good location. The owners are very friendly and fair. The house is fantastic, equipped of all you need in the kitchen as well as in the rest of the house. We would like to come back soon.

We had a wonderful time at Gigliola. The property was so beautiful and even better then the pictures. The town of Cortona is lovely and coming home to an air conditioned villa with every amenity (pool, indoor kitchen, outdoor kitchen, washing machine) made our vacation. The owners are delightful and were so very kind and we cannot wait to come back for our next visit!

The property is beautiful and the location near Cortona is fabulous. We had a wonderful time. The villa is even better than the pictures and it's a very large property. The owners were very nice and in spite of the fact they spoke Italian, went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect.

Our 2 weeks at the villa were incredible. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and lovely. The grounds are beautiful and the pool was a welcome part of the days where temperatures were between 90 - 100 degrees F. Meals in the main kitchen were great and perfect for hiring chefs (a must do). Gigliola and Lorenzo were wonderful and accommodating. The proximity to Cortona is fantastic. It is a classic medieval hill top town that is easy to visit, even just for dinner. We would gladly return here!

my family and friends had an amazing week is this beautiful, comfortable house that has everything you need. The layout is perfect with bathrooms for each room and lots of space to find for quiet reading! The pool is divine and Cortona just perfect. I would like to return to Gigliola every year and visit meet the lovely hosts again. Anne

Fabulous !!! This property is everything that you can imagine is Tuscany . The location is perfect for day trips to hill towns and larger cities. The owner is terrific and will cater to your every needs. The bedrooms are bright and spacious, and the outdoor kitchen is well equipped for cooking meals which we ate at the outdoor table. I can't think of one negative comment. The pictures on the website are true and the property is exactly as advertised. ENJOY !!

The villa and grounds are lovely and private with great views. Owner very sweet and eager to please in spite of language barrier. For 3 couples we each had our own floor which afforded a lot of privacy but the house easily accomodates more. The outside kitchen is a great gathering space and fully equipped for cooking at home. We loved it. It is about a 15 min drive to Cortona. Shirley-Cape Cod

This is a great villa for a group holiday. The house and grounds are actually better than the photos show. The location is close to Cortona, although too far to walk uphill, but centrally located for short side trips to the hilltop villages throughout this part of Tuscany. The owner is friendly and helpful, suggesting side trips and recommending local wineries and restaurants. Highly recommended.

Wonderful, well-kept and tastefully decorated villa in beautiful surroundings. Great kitchen and pool area.
We found it just perfect being situated in the out-skirts of a small village, close to Cortona, but yet with great views in every direction and only distant traffic noise that didn't bother at all.
We can easily recommend the villa, and would definetly concider renting the same villa again some time.
