What a beautiful place! The villa is lovely and the pool is fantastic. Palaia was around 10-15 minutes walk up the dirt track and the small village is stunning! Barbara the housekeeper was absolutely lovely. On a whole the place is fantastic, stunning scenery, large BBQ area and the pool! We would definitely go back to the La Fonte, however only if they installed air conditioning. We went at the end of July and most days were around 36-38 degrees. With a lack of air conditioning in the villa and bedrooms it was quite uncomfortable at night. We were provided a fan for each room, but that just blew the hot air around. If air con is installed we will be back!!

Heerlijk verblijf met warm ontvangst door lieve gastvrouw. Wilde zwijntjes en hertjes gezien bij het huis. Heerlijke plek om tot rust te komen en om een stad als Florence te bezoeken.

Overall very good. Lovely villa. On site service was very helpful but we encountered several issues of miscommunication over arrangements that had previously been confirmed by email. Also I consider a final cleaning bill of several hundred euros to be unacceptable - 1) far too high for a mornings cleaning, and 2) should be included in the price. That definitely leaves a bad taste at the end of a very pleasant stay.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour chez Francesco et Angela. L'accueil est chaleureux, la maison très bien entretenue, confortable et bien équipée. La piscine est superbe et la vue est tout simplement à couper le souffle. Idéalement placée entre Palerme et Cefalu, la maison est un peu en hauteur ce qui permet d'avoir moins chaud que sur le littoral. Nous reviendrons !

We stayed for a week in this beautiful place. When we arrived it was already very welcoming (we got an own baked apple cake), and throughout the week we were treated with many Tuscan treats near the pool. Any issues we had were very swiftly resolved. On top of that the kindness of the hosts is something we have never encountered before. 5 stars doesn’t do justice to how you are treated in this accommodation, if we could rate 6, we would want to rate 7 and so on. All in all we have had a great holiday and we definitely recommend this place to anyone wanting to visit Tuscany!
