We loved our stay at Fattoria Armenia. Three couples stayed in late May 2014 and so enjoyed the experience of staying at a family run farm. Steffania, Alessandro, Julio and Jacobo made us feel as if we were one of the family. They were so warm and welcoming and made our stay so pleasant. Salariato worked very well for the six of us and was very roomy. The master bedroom was especially nice. When we return, which we hope will be soon, we will probably stay in the cottage as it has a wonderful private outdoor space on ground level. The views were outstanding and the area as wonderful as it looks. We all loved being surrounded by the many animals including dogs and puppies, lovely horses to visit in the field, and many more. Torre Del Cielo is beautiful -- inside and out. The gardens are spectacular. Really appreciated the excellent care given to the villa and grounds.
Rosado, our host, was terrific. Attentive, but not overly so. He organized a tour of a local monastery. No vineyard tour was included.
We scheduled both the chef prepared dinner and a cooking class. Both were fun and delicious -- the dinner was exceptional. Well worth the extra cost. The villa is well equipped for cooking and dining in.
We were a group of seven -- all recommend Torre Del Cielo. We did not use the tower bedroom -- a bit musty smelling, but may be fine for some. We did use the tower bathroom during the day as it was nicely accessible when enjoying the grounds. All others are in the upper floor bedrooms.

What a fabulous holiday we had with Patricia and Mario, they welcomed us into their home, they give us our privacy but also included us in their family, they are warm friendly and informative. They give us great advise on things to see, places to eat. We had a fabulous time and will certainly be returning. Highly recommend

Very beautiful place to get rest and to make sure that you are on vacation, to remove you thoughts from work. Very nice little villages nearby to enjoy the delicious things from Tuscany. Central located to see for example Pisa, Siena and Livorno. Overall an excellent vacation!

This is an excellent villa in the perfect location. Very homely with a wonderful garden and pool. We felt very relaxed and at home here. Our 19th month old loved running around the garden and splashing in the pool and was overjoyed to see tractors in the surrounding fields on a daily basis! Would recommend to anyone.

Notre séjour à Montescalari a été fabuleux ! Le propriétaire a été charmant, accueillant et discret. Le domaine est immense, planté au milieu des vignes et des oliviers, il y a beaucoup d'espace entre les maisons. les jardins sont romantiques, arrangés avec tant de goût, il y a des fleurs partout (ça embaume le jasmin et les roses !). Le décors est paradisiaque, le coin piscine incroyable et seuls les hirondelles viennent briser le silence ! Montescalari est un endroit de rêve et rare...

We had a fabulous time in Pergine Valdarno travelling with our teenage daughters. We were travelling without a car but this was not a problem. We were met at the train station in Ponticino by Irene who drove us to the accommodation. From our initial introduction Irene was absolutely delightful. She was very enthusiastic and accommodating. Nothing was a problem. Irene took us on a tour of the local town which has everything - a butcher, pharmacy, bakery, fruit and veg, local supermarket, restaurant. The property was very clean and had a lot of character being over 500 years old. Not having a car was not a problem as Irene offered to escort us to wherever we wanted to visit. We visited Arrezzo, Siena, Cinque Terre and Pisa with Irene driving and accompanying us. To have Irene in our company was a highlight of our travels and her ability to communicate with the locals meant that we had a real Tuscan experience. We ate at places that served authentic Tuscan food and were away from the tourist area. Irene's rate for this service was very reasonable. Another major highlight of our stay was the cooking lesson with Irene and her beautiful Mum Marina. We were made to feel like part of the family and the food was delicious!!! To share a traditional home cooked meal with Irene and her family was a real treat. We would love to come back to Tuscany and would most certainly stay again at one of Irene's properties. Make sure that you visit Carabe Italian Gelato & Granita whilst in Tuscany. Antonio makes the freshest and best Gelato. We thank you Irene for our amazing memories of Tuscany.
