We had a wonderful time at Casa Laura. If you enjoy privacy than this is the place to be. There are no neighbors, only fields around. The pool area is fantastic and well kept. The area is fenced in, so save if you stay with kids. The house is well equiped with all that one needs in a vacation home. The owner stops by to attend the pool and garden, but always lets you know ahead of time. The train station is only about five minutes away by car so there is easy access to all major citys like Arezzo, Florence or Rome. There is free parking available at the station and the trains run frequently and on time. We can highly recommend a stay at Casa Laura.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour à Montebello, la maison est spacieuse, la vue est magnifique notamment depuis la piscine. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques.

Fantastic house in a perfect surrounding. The garden is beautifully kept and is more like a park. The pool is very clean and huge. The owners are very kind and even brought us homemade Tiramisu and welcomed us with a cheese platter! They were always around if we needed help.

Absolutely beautiful. Perfect setting. Perfect location. Perfect everything. However, the place desperately needs a kettle. No other criticism whatsoever. Very efficient check out too.

Wir verbrachten eine Woche in der Ferienwohnung "Rustico". Diese befindet sich im Erdgeschoss der Villa Panzalla. Die Ferienwohnung eignet sich perfekt für 2 Personen: im Eingangsbereich befindet sich eine sehr gut ausgestattete Wohnküche mit Gasherd und allem was man benötigt.
Das Schlafzimmer ist ist geräumig und besticht durch seine geschmackvoll-rustikale Ausstattung.
Die Gartenanlage ist in einem guten Zustand - überall findet man liebevoll bepflanzte Schalen, Olivenbäumchen, Zypressen. Auch der Pool, welcher von allen Gästen genutzt wird, befindet sich im Garten. Der Ausblick vom Pool auf das Chianti ist atemberaubend. Tipp: eignet sich besonders bei Sonnenuntergang.
Stefano, der Eigentümer/Gastgeber/Koch hat uns herzlich empfangen und hatte bei Fragen immer ein offenes Ohr. Besonders zu empfehlen ist ein Abendessen bei Stefano in der Villa Fabbroni (ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß) freitags, samstags oder sonntags. Dort kann man erstklassige italienische Küche inmitten einer atemberaubenden Landschaftskulisse genießen.
Alles in allem eignet sich ein Aufenthalt in der Villa Panzalla besonders für ruhesuchende Gäste, die die ursprünglichkeit der Toskana und die Gastfreundschaft der Menschen zu schätzen wissen. Die Lage ist auch ideal für weitere Ausflüge (Florenz / Siena / Greve in Chianti...). Allerdings sollte man schmerzfrei sein, was die Auffahrt zur Villa angeht (ca. 3 km auf Schotterpiste).

Nice location and garden with great swimming pool. The house is cosy but miss enough natural light in all rooms. Basic equipments should be provided (boiler, recent cooking material), and air conditioning when you rent at 2500 euros per week. Last point is the request to pay electricity which could be a good idea with air conditioning .... here, we are talking about 60 euros for a week for very basic electricity living in this house for 2 people only.
Plus: great location, beautiful apartment.
Minus: no water cooker, no cushions on garden furniture and not enough garden furniture, which we had to share with our neighbours. We prefer to pay the cleaning costs via bank and not cash... Also, nobody rang to check whether everything was ok or so.
The check out was at 10 am. We had already asked to check out earlier as we had to drive back to Holland. We had to wait for Simona (rep of the resort) and the cleaner. At 10.20 am they finally arrived, no apology of some sort. My husband was very angry, but Simona kept arguing it wasn't her fault... The fact that we need to pay a deposit of 500 euros in cash is not something of this day and age. We would have preferred to leave much earlier, but had to wait for the money to be returned. So overall a nice stay, but there are some things that need to be improved.

Beautiful villa set in stunning countryside. Let down by a poorly equipped kitchen with few amenities, especially given the extremely remote location and difficulty in visiting shops.
