The view from the terrace was incredible and made up for the very poor state of the house.
There is a wonderful terrace which has a breathtaking view of the bay. It was for this reason that we had a lovely time. The weather was warm and sunny so sitting on the terrace was fabulous! HOWEVER, we had to improvise; bringing indoor chairs outside as there was only an uncomfortable plastic bench to sit on. Additionally many things did not work or were broken. The outside lights were not working, so we were unable to sit outside to eat in the evening; the furniture was all in a very poor state of repair and stained and unclean, as was the decor. It was poorly equipped and many of the indoor lights did not work. The bath with shower was very dangerous and not at all suitable if you were unsteady or elderly (thankfully we were not). It seemed as though no one cared to make it a proper holiday rental which could , with just a little time and expense be fabulous. However, for that view, we ignored the house as much as we could and enjoyed the view. I would have had to rate a 1 if it had not been for the terrace and its view. The house itself is not fit for rental.

's-Avonds vertoeven onder de blauwe regenstruik is natuur het allermooiste. Daarom zou de eigenaar er goed aan doen een een gemakkelijker bankje met comfortabelere stoelen neer te zetten. Tenslotte zou ik het hele gedeelte voor de ingang voorzien van een houten vlonder omdat de grond heel drassig en vies wordt bij regen. De contactpersoon is super vriendelijk en erg behulpzaam. Tijdens vakantie via Whatsapp contact voor vragen en direct antwoord. Helaas is de het wifi signaal op het park onvoldoende toereikend voor het huisje. Voor wie rust wil is dit een absolute aanrader.

Beds are good although for me (1.90mtr) a bit too small. In the evening, staying under the wisteria bush is nature's most beautiful. That is why the owner would do well to put down an easier bench with more comfortable chairs. Finally, I would provide the entire area in front of the entrance with a wooden deck because the ground becomes very swampy and dirty when it rains. The property was in a wonderful location right on a canal with eateries and shops just steps away. The host was very friendly and accommodating. Communication was excellent throughout the process and check-in was straightforward. Very comfortable and clean apartment!
