Hervorragend 5 /5Il Doccio was the perfect place for our group of 11 people which included three children under 9 and two teenagers. The facility was very clean and the 16 rooms (7 BR/BA) gave everyone their own space the verandas and dining rooms were large enough where we could easily gather. We spent most days touring Florence (by train), Siena and the Chianti region (by car)and usually returned by early evening. During our stay the temperatures were 90-100F and the spotless pool was a very welcome oasis especially for the younger children when we returned from our day of touring. We highly recommend having a dinner with the family they are very gracious hosts, the dinner is casual and relaxing and Marina is an excellent cook, her Tuscan meals were delicious. The rest of the villa owner's family speak good English and can provide valuable tips of the area. It was a wonderful vacation!
