Hervorragend 5 /5We stayed at Castello di Montegufoni 4-11 July 2011. Everyone there was amazingly friendly and helpful! The reception folks gave excellent advice and were a great help on where to go, what to see, and how to get there -- they are real experts on the area. They were so very nice our entire stay, and they even loaned us 2 fans for use while we were there. The chef in their restaurant made us really feel like family. He came out to greet the guests every night. My wife and I celebrated our 20th anniversary there and he really made the celebration dinner special!
About the only complaint I can think of is no air conditioning, and bring bug spray since you'll have to leave the windows open at night.
In all, Montegufoni is beyond beautiful with an incredible location that's central to all of Tuscany! I would DEFINITELY recommend it to anyone!
