Here guests are welcomed into six charming units that reflect a rare and authentic form of hospitality: the Albergo diffuso—literally, a ‘scattered hotel’. Developed in Italy, this model revitalizes once-abandoned villages by blending comfort with local tradition in a truly immersive experience- in fact the "borgo" is a shared community between locals that live here permanently, and travelers that was born in the late 1980's.
Our collaboration with this placa was born to promote a network of local chefs, farmers, winemakers, guides, and hospitality professionals — all working together to create meaningful moments that we hope will make your stay one to remember.

The villa has been meticulously renovated by its current owners, who have preserved the original 16th-century architecture while introducing every modern comfort, using noble materials such as marble for the splendid floors, pietra serena for the décor, and select stonework for the imposing staircase that connects the three floors. The result is an environment that is at once elegant and refined, yet warm and genuinely welcoming, where every room has been curated with exceptional attention to detail. The property is enveloped by a fenced park of approximately 7,000 square metres, featuring centuries-old holm oaks, rose gardens, rosemary bushes, and shaded relaxation areas, all set within a broader 6-hectare estate that includes a vineyard, an olive grove, and a small orchard. Guests enjoy access to a spectacular 25-metre swimming pool with an infinity edge and salt purification system, a well-maintained synthetic-grass tennis court, and generous outdoor spaces designed for leisure and alfresco dining. High-speed internet Wi-Fi is available throughout the property, and ample parking is provided both within and outside the gated grounds. A stone-paved area connecting the pool zone with the entrance to the kitchen and living room features a beautiful pergola adorned with fragrant climbing jasmine, set up with tables, chairs, and a mobile barbecue, making it an ideal spot for alfresco gatherings. A second dining area is positioned at the side of the main entrance, where a long table set beneath the shade of centuries-old holm oaks invites leisurely outdoor meals in a truly evocative atmosphere. The swimming pool, which is open all year round and is non-heated, is a stunning rectangular structure measuring 25 by 5 metres, with a depth ranging from 1.20 to 2 metres. It features an infinity edge on one side, full tile lining with a border in local white travertine, salt purification, internal lighting, and 2 metal access ladders. Partially covered for added comfort, the pool is surrounded by a 200-square-metre solarium area equipped with sunbeds, deck chairs, tables, and gazebos. The main entrance is located on the ground floor and opens onto a welcoming hall featuring a magnificent fresco, recently created by a local artist, depicting a scale reproduction of one of the frescoes from the celebrated cycle of the "Legend of the True Cross" by Piero della Francesca. To the right of the entrance is a living room furnished with a Smart TV, sofa, armchairs, and a table seating 6, with direct access to the outside. To the left is an elegant sitting room with frescoed ceilings, an antique stone fireplace, sofa, armchairs, a tuned piano, and a dining table seating 8, also with direct access to the outside. A short corridor from the entrance leads on the left to a guest bathroom and a small games room with table football, and on the right to a dining room with an extendable table seating up to 14 people, with direct access to the gazebo and pool area.
